Museum of the Future: construction and design
The breathtaking building is characterized by its distinctive torus shape and is located near the Emirates Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road. The oval shape is not only a matter of taste, but also represents the transition of time from the known (past and present) to the unknown (future). The façade is decorated with exquisite Arabic calligraphy that depicts quotes about the future and acts as a narrative of its own.
The absence of columns inside the Museum of the Future is one of its most striking design elements. The result is vast open spaces that emphasize the futuristic style and represent infinite possibilities.
Inside the Museum of the Future
The past is not the main focus of the museum. It serves as a showcase for cutting-edge inventions, prototypes and the fusion of ideas. Exhibitions will change over time to reflect and highlight the latest developments in science and technology.
Artificial Intelligence (AI): You can expect exhibits that show the developments in this field, the applications in daily life and the possible future interactions between humans and AI.
The Museum of the Future’s exhibition on bioengineering explores the potential of genetic engineering, possible human enhancements and the moral issues raised by such developments.
